Oh hello there. Lizers in London you say? Well, yes, that is my aim one day. Currently my fiance and I are in the United States studying education (science and music) but we're looking to live abroad for a couple of years before kids. This means that we're juggling two balls already called "student teaching" and "planning a wedding" without throwing in any third ball labeled "moving abroad". The next question is of course, "why add another stressor?". Put simply....
It is my dream.
Since I was a freshman in high school (nine years ago now) I have had a calling in my heart to go to Britain. There's no way for me to describe in words what this has felt like over the years. I just have felt like I've been in the wrong place. The history has enraptured me along with the beautiful countrysides. During the summer of 2005 I was fortunate enough to take a trip over there with some fellow musicians and have longed to go back since.
I'm not sure where we are headed. Perhaps as first year teachers we won't get any job offers. Maybe we'll need to move abroad to a different foreign country first. I'm open to exploration. I just know that one day I'd like to experience that dream.
I'm living and learning. I think we're all lifelong learners who take what we experience and apply it to our lives. That's why it's best for us to experience life to the fullest.
